๐ŸŽ€ Shaykhah Umm Nฤsiriddฤซn, Sukaynah Bint Shaykh Al-Albฤnฤซ (RahimahumAllฤh)

She was the daughter of Shaykh Al-Albฤnฤซ and the wife of Shaykh Mฤhir Ibn Dhฤfir Al-Qahtฤnฤซ Al-Makkฤซ, she was from the teachers of the Qur'ฤn.

Before her death (in 2019), she was known to be keen upon the Sunnah and a highly dedicated woman of knowledge.

She took and benefited greatly from the knowledge of their father, Shaykh Al-Albฤnฤซ (Rahimahullฤh). Sh. Sukaynah, specifically, took care to make notes and documented benefits she got from her father's knowledge. She was given the Shahฤdah (certificate) of a Faqฤซh (Jurist) by her father.

Her sister, Sh. Hassฤnah, mentioned that she (Sh. Sukaynah) was their reference after the death of their father and her depth of knowledge reminds one of our mother, ฤ€ishah. She said:

โ€œWe rarely asked her a question about jurisprudence, except that she answered it with the answer of scholars.

Sukaynah! She was a reference for her brothers, sisters and their children after the death of my father - may Allah have mercy on him and gather her with him in the highest paradise.

She's like a Sahฤbiyyah living in our generation"

Few days before her death her husband (Shaykh Mฤhir) saw her in a dream sitting beside her late mother (Nฤjiyah), smiling. And he had interpreted the dream to mean that she will be healed from the sickness.

After her death, she was also seen in a dream, as narrated by her husband. She was asked in the dream that what has Allฤh done with her due to her striving on the path of knowledge. She's reported to have indicated with her hands pointing above; meaning that Allฤh has raised her status.

She has as well authored some books together with her sister, Shaykhah Hassฤnah Bint Shaykh Al-Albฤnฤซ.

She's from the female scholars of our time with some highly beneficial works which are published. It is reported that there's a short and interesting story surrounding her name, Hassฤnah.

Both are known to be very close amongst their siblings, always together until they got separated by death.

Sh. Hassฤnah said at the death of her sister, Sh. Sukaynah:

โ€œSukaynah! She was my life and my breath in life!

My studies were with her;

My listening to lessons were with her;

My writings were with her;

Our food and drink.

We recited the Noble Qur'ฤn and some Qirฤ'ฤt to each other;

We had a schedule to read some books of the Deen, but it stopped due of her illness.

Even during the severity of her illness, she used to say to me:

โ€˜Bring me a book to read!', โ€˜Come on, let's review the Qirฤ'ฤt!'

To give her a break in the distress of her pain! I don't know how long I can live without her company in my life.

We were never apart throughout our lives until Allฤh ๏ทป took her soul."

It was said about the two sisters, that they have no social media handles except for 2 blogs where they drop some benefits.

She (Sh. Sukaynah, ุฑุญู…ู‡ุง ุงู„ู„ู‡) said: โ€œI do not have any page or any name on any of the so-called social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, WhatsApp, etc., and I have not subscribed to any of them for a moment since they became known, and in general I only write on this blog: (Tamฤm Al-Minnah), and the blog shared with my sister Hassฤnah - who is like me in what I mentioned (i.e not having social media handles).

Her husband (Shaykh Mฤhir) mentioned that the greatest thing he inherited from his late wife (Sh. Sukaynah) is the book ุณุฃู„ุช ุฃุจูŠ

Among their works

- Ad-Dalฤซl (Hassฤnah and Sukaynah)

- Al-Afdaliyyah (Hassฤnah)

- Hukmu Khurลซjil Mar'ah lid-Da'wah (Sukaynah)

- Sa'altu Abฤซ (Sukaynah)

- A poem on the Shar'ฤซ Hijฤb (Hassฤnah)

May Allฤh have mercy on Shaykhah Sukaynah and grant her the highest level of Jannah. May Allฤh preserve Shaykhah Hassฤnah upon Khayr.

ฤ€mฤซn.
